Sido Kanhu Murmu University

Sido Kanhu Murmu University was established on 10 January 1992 and named after the fire-brand revolutionary leaders, Sido and Kanhu. Currently, the University has fifty constituent and affiliated colleges under its wing. The University offers courses in traditional subjects as well as in many professional subjects like Business Management, Computer Applications, Library Science that are of importance to the people of the region. The university also conducts MCA (Master of Computer Applications) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) on Self-Financing Scheme since July 2016. The colleges offer Bachelor Of Arts (B.A), Bachelor Of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor Of Science (B.Sc) programs.
